The Pursuit Of More Dignified Shelter
PADS presented a plan for a fixed-site shelter to Gurnee’s Planning & Zoning Board on July 24. Click to watch a video of the presentation, which outlines the vision and its conforming use. This proposal will be considered by the Gurnee Village Board on August 19. We hope sharing this information strengthens our viewers’ understanding of the innovative steps that organizations like ours are taking to respond to the growing homeless crisis in Illinois.
