Big Cat Charities Bash For Cash

Meet and mingle with former and current Chicago Bears players, other athletes, sports and media personalities, business and community leaders and Chicago tastemakers at Big Cat Charities second annual, “Celebrity Bash for Cash,” fundraiser on Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Cinespace Chicago Film Studio. Grab photo ops with your favs, enjoy St Claire Vodka signature cocktails, beer, wine, buffet, a silent and live auction, music, dancing and entertainment while raising much needed financial support for the three benefiting charities: Deborah’s Place and Maryville Crisis Nursery and PADS Lake County.
Big Cat Charities was founded by James “Big Cat” Williams who played twelve years in the NFL and all as a Chicago Bear, and is focused on helping to eradicate hunger and homelessness among women, single parents and families.
Baird & Warner Bowl-a-Thon

A Big THANK YOU!!!Baird & Warner's spirit and fun Bowl-a-Thon, along with the BW Goodwill Network, raised over $5,000 on behalf of PADS Lake County! In addition to bowling and pizza, the group raised funds through Sponsor Lane Signs and raffles!
One of the most poignant moments of the night came when we announced Richard Harris, the random winner of the 50/50 raffle-with the portion going to PADS in memory of Marge Harris, Richard's wife who passed away suddenly in February.
THANK YOU, BAIRD & WARNER!
Sow Seeds of Hope!

“Sow Seeds of Hope” was a wonderful evening of balloons, flowers, great food, music, and awards. Award presenters from each site present told heart-warming stories about those they selected to honor this year. Myrt Rosemeyer recently turned 90 years young and continues to come every week, despite some pretty nasty health issues.
Volunteers of the Year, Peter Coughlin and Dave Murphey were given long-deserved recognition for all the years of cheerful effort they have given to the shelter program!
